I’m Mario – a freelance graphic designer with a background in physics and a deep love for creative problem solving.

My journey into design wasn’t exactly traditional. I studied physics at university, chasing my curiosity about how the world works. I even got a degree. But somewhere along the way, I realized that while I loved the logic and structure of science, I was craving something more hands on and expressive, something that allowed me to build things that felt as well as functioned.

​

Looking back, the signs were always there. I’ve always been drawn to creating/doodling during lectures, experimenting with visuals, exploring how color and form could tell a story. Graphic design started out as a side interest, but it quickly became an obsession.

I spent countless late nights teaching myself the craft, learning tools, studying design theory, and saying yes to every opportunity that came my way, no matter how small. Through trial, error, and a whole lot of practice, I built a foundation in visual identity, layout design, and brand storytelling.

Now, I work as a freelancer from my hometown of Nafpaktos in Greece,  collaborating with people and businesses here and across the world. Whether I’m working on a brand refresh or a full visual identity, my process is grounded in clear communication, thoughtful design, and a drive to make things that connect.
